TBH, I couldn't see anything wrong - it was factually correct and contained an opinion, so nothing wrong there. I'm pretty sure Jay isn't the only one doing gun reviews in the mag and he (Alpha Zero) wasn't to know who was the author anyway. And he did point out his opinion was worth diddly-squat!
And as you didn't know Stephen - AI mag was hauled over the coals on ASCUK for copying and pasting verbatim large chunks of text from Wikipedia. Not Gadge and not Jay but Monaff (obviously). Gadge was royally roasted when he tried to defend his honour (one of the reasons he went very quiet on the airsoft scene for a while no doubt, as he re-registered on ASCUK in order to make a defence but didn't get a 'welcome back' that he might have been expecting).
Anyhoo, there wasn't any point in the thread so no loss although I'm slightly irritated that Monaff tries to give the impression he is giving something to the industry. On the back of others, may be.
It's one of the reasons I canned the thread - he's done f**k all for the good of Airsoft, but done a lot for the good of his wallet.
